🐛 Reporting Bugs

Our dev team is only two people strong! Bugs will inevitably slip by, and our team is dependent on users to catch some of the odder ones!

PLEASE check our Status Page before you send in a bug report!

It's entirely likely a bug has already been reported, and is being worked on! Please do not sent in another report on the bug unless it is account specific:
2FA errors and being unable to access your account
unable to view or access parts of the Inkblot site (often shows as greyed out squares or just a blank site)
issues where your feed is inaccurate (i.e. not showing people you're following)

Otherwise, if you believe you've found a new bug, please shoot us an email at support@inkblot.art OR use the chatbox in the bottom right to send a ticket directly to our helpdesk! When contacting us, providing clear information is key; the more relevant information you provide, the quicker we can pinpoint whether this is a new bug, a common issue, or an account specific one!

Please make sure to have your app or site version number on hand when reporting.

For reporting desktop web browser bugs:

Please include the following information when reporting desktop browser issues.

Browser: (Safari, Google Chrome, etc. include version)
Site Version: (sidebar via home)
Operating system: (iOS, windows, Linux, etc)
URL bug was encountered on: (if applicable; if the bug occurs on a subwindow, please clearly state how you reached that window)
Explain the bug: (i.e., when user clicked on something, this was expected to happen, but something else happened instead)

For reporting mobile app bugs:

Please include the following information when reporting mobile app issues.

Operating system: (iOS or Android)
App Version: (check app store or app settings)
Page bug was encountered on: (please clearly state how this page was reached)
Explain the bug: (i.e., when user clicked on something, this was expected to happen, but something else happened instead)

Due to our limited resources, mobile web browser bugs are NOT prioritized. We are aware that mobile web browsing is not optimized. We are focusing efforts on mobile app and desktop browser only at the moment.
